I’m a fan of Spanish, a good book, and cheese.

I love to write.

I’ve got the best friends anyone could ask for. Hands down.

I’ve left part of my heart in South America. Can’t wait to go back there again. Traveling the world is my goal.

This is a place where you can catch a glimpse of what God is doing in my life. Hopefully, it will be a place of honest and transparent dialog about this whole following Jesus thing. I am learning. I screw up everyday. But I want to be honest about life and all the confusing and wonderful things about it. Because I haven’t “arrived” yet. I hope I never get to the point where I think that. Because life is in progress…change and growth and learning are all parts of it.

Rob Bell has said that “some of the most comforting words in the universe are ‘me too.’ That moment when you find out that your struggle is also someone else’s struggle, that you’re not alone, and that others have been down the same road.” Maybe this can start a conversation (even just between you and me) about things that we just don’t discuss because we’re afraid to be transparent and real with one another.

I hope that this can be a place where you can see just how good God is. Most of the time, I don’t get it and I don’t understand the depth of His words or His love for us. But, I do know that it is truth. I want to love people as He does. I want to broadcast his glory in my life. I want to live a radical, honest, and real life for my Savior. I invite you into the journey. I hope you enjoy the scenery.
